Duluth Rowers Medal at Northwest International Rowing Regatta
Duluth Rowing Club’s Greg Peterson and Tom Rauschenfels earned first place in the Masters Men’s Double at the Northwest International Championship Rowing Regatta in Kenora, Ontario, on August 18-19. Peterson and Rauschenfels also took third in the Masters Men’s Pair.
The crew of Peterson, Rauschenfels, Randy Newberg and Arvid Brekke were second in the Masters Men’s Quad and third in the Masters Men’s Four.
In addition, Duluth placed third in the Junior Women’s Quad and Women’s 8
.
The Duluth Rowing Club’s next regatta will be Death Row, a 25-kilometer race on the St. Louis River, on September 17.
