Duluth Crews Medal at Tops and Bottoms Regatta
Duluth rowers took second place overall at Tops and Bottoms Regatta in Kenora, Ontario on July 27.
First place crews were Aidan Hoeschen-Ehrbright, Benjamin Blazevic-Seibert, Torin Peterson, Nathaniel Bateman, and Lorraina Thomas in the Junior Men’s 4+ event; Nia Kramer, Courtney Hislop, Sam Breeuwer, Kenna Huot, Savi Holden, Hannah Mason, Matilda Johnson, Stella Powell, and Kyla Rosman in the Junior Women’s 8+ event; Jayva Jordan in the Master Women’s 1x; Christopher Kirby and Jayva Jordan in the Mixed Master’s 2x; Kenna Huot, Hannah Mason, Sam Breeuwer, and Courtney Hislop in the Junior Women’s 4x; Ben Blazevic Seibert and Sam Peyer in the Junior Men’s 2-; Nia Kramer, Courtney Hislop, Savi Holden, Kenna Huot, and Kyla Rosman in the Junior Women’s 4+; Zion Desulme, Emily Wells, Jayva Jordan, and Christopher Kirby in the Mixed Master 4x; and Sam Breeuwer and Aidan Hoeschen Ehrbright in the Mixed Junior 2x.
Second place crews included Emily Wells and Jayva Jordan in the Maxter Women’s 2x; Sam Breeuwer and Hannah Mason in the Junior Women’s 2-; and Aidan Hoeschen Ehrbright, Sam Peyer, Benjamin Blazevic-Seibert, Torin Peterson, Roland Struckman, Westin Peterson, Casper Wronka, Nathaniel Bateman and Kyla Rosman in the Junior Men’s 8+.
Third place crews included Micah Schlotec, Noah Krych, Theodin Larson, Quinn Watschke, and Miles Benson in the Junior Men’s 4+; Sofia Orman, Sophia Thomas, Mya Johnson, Adelaide Johnson, Tinsae Opheim, Lucy Brown, Stella Sorenson, Elise Benson, and Lorrain Thomas in the Junior Women’s 8+; Nia Kramer and Kenna Huot in the Junior Women’s 2x; and Sofia Orman, Sophia Thomas, Stella Sorenson, Matilda Johnson and Hudson Kramer in the Junior Women’s 4+
Duluth Rowing Club will attend North West International Rowing Association Championship Regatta on August 16-17 in Kenora, Ontario.
