The DRC had a small but impressive contingent of oarsmen competed in the Head of the Mississippi Regatta on October 2.
Tom Rauschenfels, Arvid Brekke, Randy Newberg, and Greg Peterson earned first place in the Mens Masters Quad. In the Mens Masters Double, Rauschenfels and Peterson took first place; Brekke and Newberg were 4th, and Eric Dott and Bruce Derauf were 5th. In a crowded field of 21 Mens Masters Singles entries, Dott placed 8th.
The Junior crew of Micah Thomas, Jacob Javaherian, Jeremiah Erickson, Christopher Kirby, and Miles Benson (cox) placed 4th in the Junior Mens Four. Christopher Kirby was 7th in the Junior Mens Single.
